Why can't I buy downloads and traditional media at the same site?

To deliver audiobook downloads from the Internet, we needed a site that would make downloads easy for you yet protect the copyright for the authors and publishers. As our traditional media site, audiobookstand.com, was not able to do that, we contracted with OverDrive to power a site fully capable of accomplishing both of those goals. We’ve tried to make audiobookstandDL.com function just like audiobookstand.com, with the exception that you download audiobook content from the Internet instead of receiving cassettes or compact discs by mail!

You will have to place an order at each site: one at audiobookstandDL.com for downloads and one at audiobookstand.com for cassettes and compact discs.
